John Beck insists the Kettering Town management and squad will not allow themselves to be affected by the off-field issues at the club.
The Poppies are currently preparing for their first Evo-Stik Southern League Premier Division home game of the season as they take on Hemel Hempstead Town at Nene Park tomorrow having opened the season with a 0-0 draw at Weymouth.
However, off-field issues appear to be taking over again with Ritchie Jeune and the Poppies Supporters Trust stepping back from running the club after Jeune was apparently removed as chairman by the club’s shareholders.
It has left the future of the club in limbo once again.
But Beck is refusing to get involved in the situation.
The Poppies boss said: “It is nothing to do with us.
“It is not affecting us. We have been given our budget and our script and we are just getting on with the job.
“We are battening down the hatches and concentrating on what we have to do.
“We are working hard to get the squad together and getting things right on the pitch.
“I just hope the fans are patient with us and turn out in their numbers to watch the team tomorrow.
“All I can assure them of is that the team that is selected will be giving 100 per cent for the cause.”
