Kettering Town have completed five new signings just days ahead of the big Evo-Stik Southern League Premier Division kick-off at Poole Town.
Having confirmed the arrival of defender Richard Bryan earlier today (Thursday), Marcus Law has now swooped for further additions as he continues the task of rebuilding the Poppies squad.
Former Histon goalkeeper Enol Ordonez has joined the Poppies while Justin Marsden has also signed from Chasetown, where Law was manager in the second half of last season.
Kettering have also signed midfielder Mohammed Hamid who was with Deeping Rangers last season and previously played in Norway.
Striker Baker-Richardson featured in Tuesday’s 0-0 draw at Barwell in Kettering’s final pre-season friendly of the summer.
The former Coventry City man also lists Tamworth, Nuneaton Town and Redditch United, whom the Poppies play in their first home game of the new season next Tuesday, amongst his old clubs.
And Law has completed a quintet of new arrivals with the addition of full-back James Brighton.
He had spells at Cambridge United and Cambridge City and had a second spell at Hemel Hempstead last season.
All of the Poppies’ new arrivals will now be in contention for places in the squad in Saturday’s opener against last season’s runners-up.
