Marcus Law looks set to field a strong Kettering Town side for next week’s NFA Hillier Senior Cup final against AFC Rushden & Diamonds.
The showpiece at Sixfields next Thursday will mark the last action for both clubs before they head off into the summer.
And after they narrowly missed out on a play-off place in the Evo-Stik Southern League Premier Division, Law admits he is keen to finish the season with a flourish.
“We have got everyone coming in on Saturday and we will see how we are shaping up,” he said.
“Hopefully we can finish things off on a bit of a high.
“By then, AFC Diamonds will know where they are going to be (they play St Ives Town in the Division One Central play-off final on Monday) and both teams will have a real go at it.
“It’s healthy to have local rivalry and we all know the bragging rights are up for grabs.
“We will look forward to the game and I want us to try to end things on a good note.”
The Poppies have confirmed a fans forum will be held at Latimer Park next Tuesday night while the club have also revealed their end-of-season presentation evening for all teams will take place at Kettering Conference Centre on Saturday, May 21.
Supporters will have the chance to purchase tickets for the Hillier Cup final and the presentation evening during the forum, which will start at 7.30pm.
Law will be in attendance while there will be presentations from the clubs youth and community Sections
