Kettering Town will have home advantage in the fourth round of the Buildbase FA Trophy in the new year.

Paul Cox’s team have been handed a home tie with Vanarama National League North rivals Leamington after the draw was made today (Monday).

The Poppies earned their spot in the last 32 after they fought back from a goal down to win 2-1 at Northern Premier League side Ashton United on Saturday thanks to second-half goals from Decarrey Sheriff and Connor Kennedy.

The winners of the tie will earn £5,250 in prize money with the losers collecting £1,500.

Kettering are due to return to action on Boxing Day when they host Northamptonshire rivals Brackley Town at Latimer Park before heading to Alfreton Town next Monday.
