Midfielder Lewis Leslie missed last weekend’s 1-0 defeat to Kings Langley after suffering a hamstring injury during the 2-0 success over St Ives Town.

And defender Delroy Gordon was withdrawn in the second half of last Saturday’s top-of-the-table clash with a back problem.

Tom Liversedge is still sidelined after having an operation to remove a cyst from his knee.

And captain Richard Bunting also remains ruled out with a hip problem.

Peaks admits his skipper’s absence is a difficult one for his team.

But he revealed frontman Nabil Shariff could soon be in action as he continues his recovery after having an operation on his lung shortly after he joined the club.

“Bunts is still sore and it will be a little while for him yet,” Peaks said.

“It’s a big blow for us because he is our captain and he is a very influential player.

“I think we have proved we can cope without him but if we do go and win our last 10 games it won’t change the fact that we have missed him. He is a key player for us.

“We need to check on Lewis and Delroy tweaked his back during the game last weekend.

“Tom is still out for the moment. But I am hoping Nabil will come into things soon.”
