Shaun Sparrow's Rothwell Corinthians claimed a 1-0 win at local rivals Desborough Town

Goodband struck inside the first minute at the Waterworks Field and that proved to be enough for Shaun Sparrow’s team, who are now closing in on securing their top-flight status after earning promotion last season.

Justin Dowling scored a late equaliser as Wellingborough Town moved three points clear of the drop-zone with a 1-1 draw at Cogenhoe United.
