An incredible second-half display proved decisive for Whitworth as they crushed bottom side Burton Park Wanderers 7-2.

There was little sign of what was to come with the two teams level at 1-1 at the break after Chris Gilligan’s goal for Wanderers had been cancelled out by Cavell Jarvis.

But four goals in 18 minutes after the restart changed the game as Dan McGovern, Ant Lawrence (2) and Jarvis put the Flourmen 5-1 up.

Raunds Town inflicted a first defeat of the year on Blackstones as they secured a 3-2 win at Kiln Park.

Zac Fisher put the visitors in front but Raunds turned things around before the break with Karl King, Nat Gosnal-Tyler and Nick Harrison putting them 3-1 up.
