Chairman Ralph Burditt said: “This excellent suggestion from a supporter is exactly the kind of creative idea which the club needs at this challenging time and offers fans an opportunity to quite literally be part of the team taking the field each week.
“I hope this will appeal both to those watching from within the ground as well as those from far afield who can't get to games regularly.”
Commercial director John Gregory added: “Due to Covid-19, Auto Windscreens advised they would not be taking up their second and final year option as main club shirt sponsor.

“The launch of our new custom design kits allowing fans names to be woven into the print of the shirt is attracting interest throughout our fanbase and within the wider football community.
“I hope the newly designed shirts and our marketing reach will now attract a new main club shirt sponsor. It will certainly give them a unique opportunity to promote their brand and company at a highly cost- effective package.”
And manager Andy Peaks said: “It is a fantastic initiative, to have your name on the shirts worn by the players every game is a great idea, it helps the club financially and I fully back it.
