Diamonds' clash with Sports called off
AFC Rushden & Diamonds' home match with Peterborough Sports has been postponed.
A pitch inspection was carried out at Hayden Road this afternoon (Tuesday) but the surface was deemed to be waterlogged and the BetVictor Southern League Premier Central clash will now have be re-scheduled for a second time after it was called off for the first time on Boxing Day.
Diamonds will now hope their pitch will be ready for the weekend when they are due to take on league leaders Tamworth.
