Diamonds bring in Kaziboni

Greg Kaziboni has joined AFC Rushden & Diamonds on loan

The former Northampton Town and Corby Town frontman has joined Diamonds on a 30-day loan deal from BetVictor Southern League Premier Central rivals Tamworth.

Kaziboni joined the Lambs following a successful season with Banbury United and has also previously featured for Biggleswade Town and Brackley Town.

He is now set to be available for Diamonds’ first game of the new year when they head to St Ives Town tomorrow (Wednesday, 3pm).

And boss Andy Peaks said: “I’ve been an admirer of Greg’s for a while now.

“I tried to sign him last season and it didn’t work out, so I’m really pleased he’s joining us now.

“We’ve got a big month with lots of games and I’m looking forward to seeing Greg being a huge part of that.”
