Desborough Town and Wellingborough Town go head-to-head in a ChromaSport & Trophies United Counties League Premier Division local derby tonight (Tuesday).

And both teams will be looking to bounce back from defeats at the weekend when they collide at the Waterworks Field.

Rob Gould’s Doughboys currently sit rock-bottom in the table after they were beaten 3-0 at home by Boston Town on Saturday.

At the same time, Steve Walker’s Desborough side were losing 2-1 at Deeping.

Elsewhere, Daren Young will be looking to get his return to Stewarts & Lloyds up and running again when he takes his team to Shepshed Dynamo.

Young returned to Occupation Road last week following the resignation of Lee Duffy but his first game back at the helm ended in a 4-0 defeat to current leaders St Ives at the weekend.

Irchester United, meanwhile, will be hoping to put a torrid run behind them tonight.

They were thrashed 11-1 at home by Spalding United on Saturday and head to AFC Kempston this evening.
