Jim Mallinder’s men have got this weekend off after bowing out of the LV= Cup in last Saturday’s semi-final at Saracens.

Sarries and Exeter will contest the final at Franklin’s Gardens on Sunday, with Saints able to rest up ahead of their March 27 return to Premiership action.

And with a Champions Cup quarter-final at Clermont Auvergne eight days after that game against Wasps, Dickson wants his team to be at full tilt.

“I’m healthy, I’m fit and a lot of the boys are,” said the scrum-half.

“We’ll all keep ticking over because we’ve got to switch our minds to two massive cups, in the Premiership and Europe.

“It’s a massive eight to ten weeks for this club so there will be a bit of recharging the batteries and then focus on Wasps.

“They are flying at the moment so when they come to the Gardens it’s going to be a massive game.

“Hopefully we’ll be all guns blazing going into that match.”
