As well as the enforced absence of injured prop Alex Corbisiero, no.8 Sam Dickinson, who earlier this week received his first call up to the England Saxons squad, has been rested.

The former Rotherham man has been one of Saints’ best players so far this season, but he has been left out of the matchday 23.

With Dickinson being rested and Corbisiero injured, Ethan Waller and GJ Van Velze are added to the replacements bench.
