Day three of Northamptonshire’s clash with Glamorgan has been abandoned.
As on the first day, no play has been possible at the County Ground as the wet summer continues to take hold of the cricket season.
It almost certainly removes any chance of a natural result from a game the County had become well place in after David Sales’ century left them 336-5 overnight.
Perhaps the only chance of an outcome now lies in an immediate declaration and the forfeit of an innings each.
But that will also depend on the weather improving.
