Northants have offered a range of options to the club's season ticket holders that have been left without any cricket to watch so far this summer due to the Covid-19 pandemic, including a full refund.

The club is still hopeful of some supporters being allowed into games later in the summer, but that is by no means guaranteed, and means season ticket holders have been badly affected what has happened since March.

The club have tried to find a solution that will work for all, and have come up with four options which are to donate the money to the club, to rollover the ticket to the 2021 season, to use the money to upgrade to a lifetime season ticket, or to ask for a refund, which can be either the full amount or a percentage.

There are other offers within the offers, including free replica shirts and extra guest tickets.

The County are aiming to cater for everybody's circumstances, and season ticket holders can simply choose which one is best for them.

In a letter to season ticket holders, chief executive Ray Payne said: "I am now able to confirm the options available to you as a season ticket holder.

"It has always been the club's intention to empower our supporters to make the best choice for their situation and I'm confident the options available will achieve that.

"At this stage we're still hopeful of welcoming small crowds to the County Ground this year, and active season ticket holders will have priority in claiming seats if this is the case.

"Although, please note in the event of any crowds the Turner Stand and Spencer Pavilion will remain closed.

"We have four options for you as a season ticket holder... and within our options you can also choose a percentage that works for you as we have worked to provide the most amount of flexibility possible."

The options are as follows - Donate.

The club statement reads: Join an exclusive group in 2020! Leave things as they are and donate the cost of your season ticket to help support the club.

Supporters who take up this option will be able to purchase a 2021 season ticket at Early Bird prices regardless of when they buy, as well as a FREE 2021 County Championship replica shirt or NCCC Club polo.

You can also choose to donate a percentage of your season ticket and use the remaining percentage to offset the cost of a 2021 season ticket.

Second option: Roll over

The club statement reads: We’ll simply convert your 2020 season ticket into a 2021 season ticket.

"Rolling over your 2020 season ticket provides huge help to the club during these unprecedented times.

"You’ll receive all of the same inclusions as your season ticket would have offered this year as well as priority access to tickets should we be allowed socially distanced crowds during the shortened 2020 season.

Third option: Upgrade

The club statement reads: Turn your 2020 season ticket into a Lifetime Season Ticket, secure your spot at the County Ground for years to come and support the club during these difficult times for us all.

The price of your 2020 season ticket will be used as credit towards your upgrade.

Supporters who choose this option will also receive a bonus welcome gift of: Double guest tickets for 2021, a FREE 2020 Replica shirt of your choice or NCCC club polo along with a further £100 voucher to be used in the club shop or online.

Fourth option: Refund

The club statement reads: We understand the past few months have presented all sorts of challenges for people, including financially. We’ll refund 100 per cent of the price you paid for your season ticket.

You can also choose to refund a percentage of your 2020 season ticket and use the remaining percentage to offset against your 2021 season ticket.

Refunding more than 50 per cent will cancel your 2020 season ticket and you’ll no longer be able to claim your seat in the event of crowds being permitted into the County Ground this season.

Supporters do have a deadline to make their decision, with the statement continuing: To help us process everything, we’re asking that you let us know your choice before the 30th of September.

"If we haven’t heard from you before then we’ll automatically roll your season ticket over to 2021.

"If you’re unsure which option is best for you or would like some more information, please fill out the form and choose the ‘I have a question’ option. We’ll aim to get back to you within 24 hours."

Also, season ticket holders who have a car park pass or multiple season tickets on their account will have to provide their preferred options for each individual element.
