Northamptonshire have moved to lessen the impact of their injury list by signing Middlesex’s Adam Rossington on loan.
The 21-year-old batsman has moved to the County Ground for a month and will be available for all three formats.
His involvement will start with inclusion in the squad for tonight’s (Thursday) Natwest t20 Blast clash with the Birmingham Bears.
Speaking about the deal, head coach David Ripley commented: “We currently have some batting injuries with (David) Sales, (Rob) Keogh and (Rob) Newton all out, especially as Sales and Keogh will be out for a decent length of time.
“We decided it is important to reinforce our batting depth.
“Adam has good experience in all formats and we are delighted that he has agreed to join us for the next month.”
