The tourists will visit the County Ground from Friday, August 14 to Sunday, August 16, which falls between the fourth and fifth Ashes Test matches.

It continues a long tradition of the club hosting the Australians with the fixture, in one guise or another, stretching back to the first game in 1882.

The County last faced those from down under in 2009 with the fixture last season being taken on by an England Lions XI due to the Steelbacks’ involvement in the Twenty20 finals day at Edgbaston.
