Any youngsters aged between five and 17 are invited to go along for the Get, Set, Try event on Thursday (February 18) from 3.30pm to 6pm at Glamis Hall where all the weekly youth activities will be on offer for free.

GLJ Theatre, Fusion youth club and several other companies are joining forces to show what’s on offer at the community centre on the Queensway estate.

Gary Johnson, youth trustee of Glamis Hall, said: “We would like as many people on the estate to join us every week at Glamis Hall.

“It’s important to keep our children engaged in a mixture of activities outside school where they can meet like-minded young people in a safe environment.”

The workshops will be 30 minutes long and are free for all young people.

Confirmed workshops include GLJ mini youth theatre for four to seven-year-olds, Zumba Kids, GLJ youth theatre for seven to 15-years-old, police cadets and the new Glamis Hall football club.

As well as the workshops, the Fusion activity zone and the Glamis Hall messy craft area will be open.
