An exciting afternoon of entertainment has been promised at Extreme American Wrestling’s next live show.

The event, called Open Challenge 2012, will be held in Rushden at the beginning of next month.

EAW chairman Nick Bourne said: “It’s going to be an afternoon of action packed live wrestling for the entire family.

“The main event will be the EAW World Heavyweight Championship - Ultra Mark Massa has issued an open challenge to anyone who wants to take on the EAW champion for his title.

“There will also be a street fight between former best friends, and former tag team champions, Pretty Boy and Shane Summers who are collectively known as Summers Camp. Shane Summers attacked The Pretty Boy with his own tag team title at Unfinished Business.

“There will also be the first round for the newly vacated tag team titles when The Imperfects will take on their old enemies Perfect 10.

“We’ve got great wrestlers, pyrotechnics and exciting action - everyone will have a great time.”

In addition there will be matches between A-Star Andy Poole and Nero Classic and a tag team match between Stealth and The Chameleon versus The Prime Time Crew.

The event will be held on Sunday, August 5, at the Pemberton Centre in H E Bates Way. It will also include a bar, hot food and souvenirs will be available.

Doors open at 3pm and the show will start at 4pm.
