Woman taken to hospital after Wellingborough crash

The crash took place in London Road, close to the new McDonalds outlet, shortly before 9.30pm on Friday, February 5.

A woman in her 20s was removed from her vehicle by the Magpas Rapid Response team and was taken to University Hospital Coventry in a stable condition.

A second driver was assessed and discharged by the ambulance service at the scene.

A Northamptonshire Police spokesman said: “We are treating the collision as an accident but we would appreciate anyone who witnessed it to call 101 or the Drivewatch Hotline on 0800 174615.”
