Woman cut under her eye after being attacked by stranger in Kettering street

A woman was left with a cut under her eye after she was attacked with a weapon by a stranger in Kettering.

The woman was walking her dog in Bishop’s Drive at about 4.45pm on Sunday, September 28, when a man approached her from behind.

The stranger then stepped in front of her and cut her under her right eye with an unknown weapon.

He is described as white with a tanned complexion, of average build and about 5ft 8in. He was wearing dark jeans and a grey hooded jacket with the hood pulled down over his face.
