AN elderly passenger had to be freed from a car by emergency services after a crash.
As the Evening Telegraph reported yesterday three vehicles were involved in a collision on the A6 bypass near Burton Latimer on Wednesday afternoon.
Police revealed yesterday a Fiat Tipo, a blue Mini One and a black Renault Laguna were involved in the incident.
An 81-year-old woman, a passenger in the Tipo, was released from the vehicle by Northamptonshire Fire and Rescue Service using the technical rescue vehicle and paramedics at about 1.50pm. A 23-year-old woman, the driver of the Mini, was treated for minor cuts to her face.
Three fire engines and crews attended the incident. The road was closed in one direction for a short period to allow the emergency services to work safely.
