The shop in Newton Road was raided at about 8.30pm on Monday (March 13).
The four offenders threatened staff and made off with cash and cigarettes.
Police want to hear from anybody who may have witnessed the incident or has any information on 101 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555111.
A police spokesman added that nobody was injured in the incident.
