A popular social club in Rushden will re-open on Friday after being closed for more than a year.
The Windmill Club, in Glassbrook Road, Rushden, closed in October 2011, which led to a campaign to keep it open.
But now the new owners have promised to turn the club back into a social hub once more, and are relaunching the venue on Friday with a disco and karaoke.
Co-owner Daz Bains said: “We want to welcome all of the local community who want to sign up for membership, when we open on Friday.
“We are delighted for it to be open and the community have been a great support, so we want to give something back.”
The doors will open at 5pm on Friday and Mr Bains added that the club is now ready to sign up members, with annual memberships costing £10.
The snooker room will also re-open and up-and-coming snooker player and club member Harvey Chandler will be present on launch night.
The club is also taking inquiries for special events, such as weddings and birthdays.
