The search is on to find people pictured in this old school photograph taken in the 1950s of pupils at St Mary’s School, Kettering.

The photograph was sent to Corby councillor Ray Lilley and some of his former classmates have already been tracked down to America, Canada, Australia and New Zealand.

He said: “I and other friends who came from Kettering would like to know is where these pupils are now.”

Pictured are, back row, standing, Joe Hedges, Anthony Shawley (deceased), not known, John Payne, Brian Rice, Graham Court, Maurice Evans and John Wilson (deceased.)

Third row, standing, are Val Bayers, Vera Jackson, Maureen Holgate, Sheila Payne, Sylvia Varnfield, Joyce Sawbridge, Majorie Singleton, Wendy Hopper, Wendy Ashley, Janet Chapman, Angela Hawkes, Irene McKeown and Dorothy Pack.

In the second row, sitting, are Val Shatford, Mary Roberts, June Elmore, Jeanie Gilbert, Elizabeth Lloyd, Pat Parker, Margaret Roberts, Margaret Meachem, Patsy Miller, Ann York and Margaret Goodall.

In the front row are David Lewis, Roger Deacon, Alan Meadows, Arthur Ayres, Ray Lilley, Ian Pratt, Marcas Creaber and James Kenny.
