Wellingborough woman charged with persistently begging for money
A Wellingborough woman is to appear before court tomorrow (Thursday) charged with an offence of begging under the Vagrancy Act.
Emma Hynds, 45, of Bell Court, was arrested after police received a number of calls claiming she was approaching members of the public and persistently begging for money.
The alleged offences were reported across Wellingborough, including the town centre, Castlefields retail park and the train station.
Hynds is set to appear at Northampton Magistrates’ Court tomorrow.
