Thousands of walkers from around the world stepped out to enjoy the Wellingborough countryside for the annual Waendel Walk.
About 5,000 people took part in the event on Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
A spokesman for Wellingborough Council said: “It was a really great weekend. We had about 5,000 walkers taking part from all over the world. The whole event went very smoothly and even the weather was kind to us. We’ve had lots of positive comments about the professional way the walks were organised, as well as the fact they took people through such beautiful countryside. We have a brilliant group of volunteers who help us out in the preparation and throughout the weekend itself, and I’d like to thank them all. We couldn’t do it without them.
“It’s now 25 years since the Waendel Walk became part of the International Marching League, which is when we became a truly worldwide event, and we’re so proud of the reputation our event has all over the world.”
