Demolition work has begun on a former pub in Wellingborough which was built in the 1880s.

The Dun Cow in Gold Street is being demolished to make way for 26 social housing flats.

Wellingborough Homes will build 26 apartments and car parking spaces on the site after Wellingborough Council’s planning committee approved plans earlier this year.
