Bannatyne’s Health Club in Wellingborough has appointed two new managers to run the gym.

Phil Stigwood has taken on the role of General Manager, while Izzy Collyer has been promoted to Fitness Manager.

The Health Club, on Park Farm Industrial Estate, boasts a heated swimming pool, sauna and steam room, cafe bar and three exercise studios.

Mr Stigwood, 37, has been in the Health and Fitness industry for more than 12 years and has five years’ experience in running a health club.

Mrs Collyer, 24, has been promoted from within the club from her previous role as Senior Fitness Instructor.

She said: “I am absolutely delighted to be appointed to this role. I have worked at Bannatyne’s Health Club in Wellingborough for a number of years and it is a really fantastic facility.

“I know our members and the high standards they expect. I’m really looking forward to helping them in their pursuit of healthy lifestyles and have a lot of ideas to help keep fitness fun and interesting. I can’t wait to really make my mark on the club.”

Mr Stigwood said: “I am hugely excited to take on this new role. I am planning on taking the club forward by maintaining and building on our excellent reputation for customer service. I have a lot of ideas I would like to bring to the club, and will be liaising with members to find out what their priorities are and what they would like to see in the club.

“My ambition is to ensure we maintain and strengthen our position as one of Northamptonshire’s premier Health Clubs and ensure that all of our members have the best possible service in achieving their personal fitness goals and maintaining active health and wellbeing.”
