At the end of the 24 hour match fund period, 1,000 donations will be randomly selected to benefit from an additional £5 of match funding, with successful donors being notified within 48 hours.

These, often underappreciated, groups make an invaluable contribution to the lives of millions of people, communities and causes across the UK every day.

The charity, which support families living within the Borough of Wellingborough, will be using the #GiveMe5 campaign to raise funds to provide our summer scheme for supported families.

Home-Start Wellingborough & District volunteers provide invaluable support to local families that are experiencing difficulties of all kinds.

Janet Gwiliam Sanders, scheme manager at Home-Start Wellingborough & District, said: “We’re incredibly excited to be part of #GiveMe5.

“We hope that the local community will show their generosity and support.

“Just one matched £5 donation would give us £10 of funding.

“This would make a big difference to a family as it would cover the cost of the whole family attending one of our summer activities.”
