A ridge of high pressure will build in on Saturday, says Pitsford Hall Weather Station.
But after a dry and bright start with some early sunshine, we will not be immune from the possibly of some showers through the afternoon.
Highs will reach 16C with a mostly gentle north-westerly breeze.
The showers will fade away into the evening to leave a dry and largely clear night. Lows will fall to 8C.
The ridge of high pressure should persist into Sunday which should be a largely fine day, although the cloud will gather by late afternoon with rain expected during the evening and overnight.
Winds will be light, with highs of 17C falling overnight to 11C.
The prospects for the Bank Holiday are unsettled, with rain pretty much set in for the day.
