“Sharne really thinks about the patients journey from start to end. You can see that Sharne is a genuine person and really does care about our patients. They are welcomed into our clinic and are sent away feeling like they are the only patient on our records as such high care is delivered.

“Care doesn’t falter between patients and after-care forms part of Sharne’s approach, calling them and sending postcards to check they are ok after lengthy treatments or anyone that is nervous.

“Sharne has also recently contacted several schools in our area to offer our services to provide oral health education to children. She has started creating the presentation and gathering educational items for the schools,” she said.

The Oral Health Foundation visited Sharne and the team to surprise her with a prize and she was beaming from ear to ear, remarking that this ‘had made her year’.
