A series of events have been held at Desborough Pocket Park during the year to help look after and maintain the green space during the various seasons.

People of all ages have given up their time to help with a range of jobs, including regravelling the steps, pruning, sowing wildflowers and clearing the river.

Following the final clean-up event of the year which took place recently, Keith Brown, vice chairman of Desborough Pocket Park committee, has thanked everyone for their support.

He said: “On behalf of the Desborough Pocket Park committee, I would like to say thanks to all the volunteers that have helped, come rain or shine, to keep the park looking so good.

“Without your help, we could not have achieved everything we have done this year.

“Once again, thank you.”
