Village hall gig aims to help boost charity

A Wilbarston man has organised a night of rock music to help raise money for Cancer Research UK.

Trevor Dixey is hosting the evening which will see a performance from indie and rock covers band Stolen Mojo at Wilbarston Village Hall from 8pm on Saturday, April 12.

Mr Dixey said the event was prompted by one of his friends being diagnosed with lung cancer and by another friend who died two years ago.

The evening is being supported by Kitchen Tailor, Mr Dixey’s Kettering employers.

Tickets for the event cost £10, which includes a buffet.
