An annual summer fete took place today (Sunday) at Lakelands Hospice in Corby.
The event featured performances by the Nene Valley Dance group, a variety of stalls and activities for children, including mini train rides.
Sophie Harris, fundraising support worker at the hospice, said: “The event is well supported by people in the area. We always get great support from the local community.”
Lakelands Hospice, in Butland Road, Corby, cares for patients suffering with life limiting illnesses, such as cancer, multiple sclerosis and motor neurone disease. It costs about £475,000 a year to run and is funded by voluntary donations and support from the local community.
