There were delays in Kettering town centre this morning (Thursday) after a lorry became wedged under a railway bridge.
The incident occurred in Northampton Road, which was shut between Northfield Avenue and Bowhill.
Police were called to the incident at just before 10.30am and the road was re-opened by 12.30pm
A spokesman added: “There are no reports of any injuries and the bridge is intact.”
Drivers were advised to avoid Kettering town centre, including Gypsy Lane and Northfield Avenue.
