Thousands of spectators gathered in Brigstock to enjoy the sights and sounds of the traditional Boxing Day meeting of the Woodland Pytchley Hunt.
Families filled the square and lined the streets to watch the riders and foxhounds parade around the village before setting off on the hunt.
The Green Dragon pub served up warming mulled wine, tea, coffee and bacon rolls.
Olivia Lees, eight, of Kettering, on her horse Muffin, was one of the dozens of riders who took part in the hunt.
She said: “This is the second time I have taken part and I’m really looking forward to it.”
