Victim suffers broken arm and jaw in Desborough robbery

Police have made an appeal for witnesses to a robbery which took place in the early hours of New Year’s Day in Desborough.

A 19-year-old man walking along Harrington Road into Alexandra Road was approached by two men who threw him to the ground.

They then threatened him with a knife and punched him a number of times, before stealing his mobile phone and wallet.

The 19-year-old suffered a broken arm and jaw in the attack, which took place between between 2.30am and 3.30am. Police have only just released details about the incident.

The offenders are described as white men, aged 20 to 30, one with dark hair and one with ginger hair and freckles.
