Victim robbed of phone in Corby by men who '˜could have been armed with knife'

Two men assaulted and then robbed a man of his mobile phone as he was walking along Lyveden Way in Corby.

The victim was with a friend when the offenders demanded their watches and phones.

The victim’s mobile was then snatched from his pocket.

He was then pushed to the floor where he was kicked by both offenders, suffering minor injuries including a grazed elbow.

Police say it is possible one of the offenders was armed with a knife.

The first robber was described as white, aged 20 to 30, 6ft and skinny.

He had short blond hair and he was wearing a light brown jacket and dark blue bottoms.

The second offender was also white, aged 20 to 30, 6ft and skinny.

He was either wearing a hat or had dark hair.

He was wearing a dark jumper and black trousers.
