Victim of fatal crash on A5 in Northamptonshire named by police

A man who died after his car left the A5 in Northamptonshire yesterday has been named as Paul Oddy, aged 48, of Litchborough.

Mr Oddy was driving a white BMW 3 series on the northbound carriageway between Weedon and Whilton yesterday morning just after 9am when the collision took place.

Police officers investigating the collision would like to speak to anyone who may have witnessed the collision.

Mr Oddy’s car failed to negotiate a left hand bend and left the road and collided with a tree.
