Vandals targeted 11 cars in a Corby street in one night, scratching the vehicles and carving obscene words into the paintwork.

The vehicles were damaged in Rowlett Road during the evening of Thursday, February 20, or in the early hours of the following day.

PC Charlotte Freer, who is investigating the incident, said: “These attacks have caused these motorists a lot of distress and will cost them a lot of money to put right.

“I would urge anyone who knows anything about them to come forward.”

The cars were all either parked in Rowlett Road or in driveways off the street. One car also had its wing mirror smashed.

Witnesses to the incident or anyone with any information can call Northamptonshire Police on 101. Alternatively, information can be given anonymously to Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
