A man arrested in connection with a stabbing on the Queensway estate in Wellingborough will appear at Northampton Crown Court later this month.
The hearing follows an incident in which a 39-year-old man was stabbed in the Diana House area of Queensway in the early hours of Friday, June 28.
As part of the investigation, police made an appeal last week in a bid to locate Mlemiy Kayani, a 38-year-old man from Tanzania, who they wanted to question about the attack.
He was arrested at the end of last week and appeared at court shortly after. He will now appear at Northampton Crown Court on July 19.
The 39-year-old victim of the assault, who was taken to Walsgrave Hospital in Coventry after the attack, has since been discharged.
Anyone with information about the attack can call Northamptonshire Police on 101 or information can be given anonymously to Crimestoppers on 0800 555111.
