A major road has reopened following a crash that saw a man airlifted to hospital at lunchtime today (Thursday).
The road was closed at 11am after the man, in his 60s, crashed his motorbike into a ditch.
The Warwickshire & Northamptonshire Air Ambulance flew to the scene and arrived at 11.31, just 16 minutes after they received the call.
He had suffered injuries to his head, face and legs. He was given advanced pain relief and flown to University Hospitals Coventry and Warwickshire.
The patient’s current condition is unknown.
Police have now reopened the road and traffic is flowing well.
