Corby Cube is to hold an EU referendum cabaret show the night before the UK public decide the nation’s fate.

The action-packed show Should We Stay Or Should We Go? aims to help people make up their minds from 7.30pm on Wednesday, June 22.

When so much of the information being shared about the referendum is dominated by dry statistics and its possible economic impact, The Core will inject a bit of fun into proceedings, creating something accessible and light-hearted.

It will still tackle all the issues but rather than being dominated by numbers and political positioning, it will instead use music, soap opera and stand-up.

Featuring up-to-the-minute plays and sketches based on the week’s news, the in-house soap opera will explore one couple’s opposing views and help them overcome their differences.

Performance lectures and special guests from both sides of the argument will be complemented by an eclectic folk house band, Bonfire Radicals, made up from musicians from across the EU.

The evening is all tied together by a host who understands that whether you’re ‘in’ or ‘out’, you’ve just got to ‘shake it all about’.

Having visited towns, festivals and cities across the country including the contemporary theatre Pulse Festival in Ipswich, this entertaining show returns home to a fun-filled finale back in Corby and can be enjoyed in a stylish cabaret format in The Core’s main auditorium, with relaxed table seating and a full bar service.

Tickets are priced at £5 and can be booked by calling the ticket office on 01536 470470 or by visiting www.thecorecorby.com.
