Vicki-Louise Sherwin, who attends Brooke Weston Academy, and Charlie Botting, of Bishop Stopford, will launch their version of Now I’ve Found You At Last on February 18 at the hospice.

The youngsters have already helped to raise £6,000 for the hospice and hope to reach the £10,000 landmark to help patients and nurses.

Vicki-Louise said: “We have chosen to hold it there as we want to perform the song for the patients.

“After all, they are the inspiration behind it all.

“We will be singing and signing CDs for the patients at 2.30pm, then we will be singing and signing again at 3.30pm if members of the public would like to come along.

“We are also thinking of singing and signing again at 6.30pm, if there is enough interest for that.

“There will of course be CDs available on the day to purchase.

“It is free to attend but people can make a donation and purchase a CD if they wish.”
