Two arrested following apparent robbery at Kettering convenience store

Police have appealed for witnesses to an apparent robbery which took place at a Kettering convenience store in broad daylight.

Two people were arrested following the incident at the Booze 4 Less shop in Montagu Street just after 2pm on Wednesday, October 8.

A Northamptonshire Police spokesman said staff at Booze 4 Less called at approximately 2pm to say three women had gone in and stolen cigarettes, alcohol and lottery scratchcards.

The spokesman added: “Just after 6pm we were at the scene when two of the suspects returned and were arrested.”
