Foreign friends will visit Buckingham Palace, unveil a memorial plaque and go for a night at the dogs when they come over on a twin town trip next week.
Kettering will host visitors from its German twin town, Lahnstein, for a week from Tuesday.
Local families will house the Germans while they are over.
Kettering Twinning Committee has organised a packed schedule of events for the visitors.
The day after arriving they will head to Buckingham Palace in London.
Wednesday, July 4, will be spent in Kettering. They will unveil a plaque for the memorial tree for Cecil Brown before heading to the CCTV control room for a bird’s eye view of the town.
In the evening DJ Bill Burton will put on a disco at Kettering Conference Centre.
The visitors will also go to Peterborough, where they will tour the historic cathedral before heading to the greyhound stadium for the evening.
