Davis, whose TV and film credits include Willow, Star Wars and the Harry Pottter films as well as the TV sitcom Life’s Too Short, will be at the Tesco Extra store in Corby on Saturday (January 30).

He will be at the store to raise awareness of the charity which he co-founded with his wife Samantha and a group of individuals with the same goals in helping those with dwarfism.

He will be there while supporters of the charity are taking part in a bag-packing event for customers.

Paul Hinton, committee member of LPUK, said: “It’s important to raise awareness for people with dwarfism, and the visit of such a high profile name to Corby will hopefully drum-up some increased support for the charity.

“Many people with dwarfism and their families rely on Little People UK as a source of guidance, so it’s important we stage events like this to let people know exactly what we do.”

Davis has helped to remove the negative stigma surrounding dwarfism after becoming an international success starring in films and television series.

Little People UK aims to offer friendship and support to people with dwarfism and to help build a positive future for those sufferers up and down the country.

The bag-packing will be taking place between 10am and 4pm.

Davis will be showing his support at the store between midday and 2pm.
