Tresham bands go off with a bang at fireworks event
Music students from Tresham enjoyed more than fifteen minutes of fame when they performed inform of almost 14.000 people during Wicksteed Park's fireworks celebrations earlier this month.
Two of the college’s bands, London After Midnight and The Roaming Candles, from level 3 Music Performance and HNC in Music performed in front of the crowd before the annual fireworks display on Saturday, November 5.
Mike Archer, Music Tutor at Tresham, said: “It’s been a fantastic experience for them. The feedback has been excellent; it’s been all over social media. They’ve already had a number of offers off the back of this gig.”
