Music lovers are in for a treat next month.
Raunds Music Festival runs from Thursday, May 1, to Sunday, May 4, at various venues in the town and includes internationally acclaimed performers as well as school and community events.
The festival includes a sing and tune session on the Thursday and a ceilidh in Saxon Hall on Friday, May 2, from 8pm.
There will be community dancing with stalls and other entertainment in the town square from 10am to midday on Saturday, May 3, and in the evening 3 Daft Monkeys will perform in Saxon Hall from 8pm.
For jazz lovers there is a jazz cafe event from 2.30pm on the final day of the festival in Saxon Hall featuring the Amy Roberts and Richard Exall Quintet.
Refreshments will be available and Norty’s Real Ale Bar will be serving an ale brewed especially for the festival.
